After a long day in the new Room, Rony and I decided to be on the other side of the bar. So, we scurried to Williamson Wines, a gorgeous Room on Matheson Street in Healdsburg. Not only was each wine tasty, but irregularly moving, pleasantly startling. Winemaker Bill Williamson was very kind in agreeing to an unannounced interview. Next time I’m there, I’m walking away with a case or more, effortlessly.
Then, Bear Republic, home of my favorite beer, Racer 5. Rony insisted we get some calamari, so we did. Scrumptious, memorable. Why has it taken this writer so long to return? Great night, in this vinoLit Life.
Happiest of birthdays, Dad!!!
